Description

This course, 2020 You Can’t Fix Stupid!!...But We Can Work With Ignorance!, is approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission (Course Code 71809) as an in-class course for 6 hours of continuing education credit for Georgia real estate licensees AND GREC approved instructors.  In addition, completion of this course also satisfies the License Law Update required of all licensees every license period!  This course is offered by the Georgia Real Estate Commission (School Code 999; school renewal date 12/31/2020) in part through grant from the Real Estate Education, Research, and Recovery Fund.  The course is instructed by Thomas E. Gillett (Tom).  This presentation shall be via livestream using ZOOM.  See attachment for ZOOM and attendance requirements.

To receive Continuing Education credit for this course, the student must:

􀀹 be on time

􀀹 sign in before the course begins

􀀹 remain in the course until the end of the session

􀀹 return a completed evaluation at the end of course

􀀹 not have completed this course within the last year.

Persons arriving late or persons not attending all of the session will not receive continuing education credit.  No partial credit will be given and there is no make-up session for this course.

Class time 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Waiting Room/Registration starts at 8:45 a.m.

This class is by LIVESTREAM (video-conference) only.  PLEASE NOTE: Registrations after noon on the business day before the date of the class may not receive the ZOOM information necessary to participate. If this occurs, contact the Class Sponsor for the Zoom information for this class.

Requirements for participating in a virtual class:

  1. Your device must have a video webcam, microphone, and speakers. (You are required to enable video so that we can monitor attendance.)
  2. You need to set up a free Zoom account (https://zoom.us/) prior to the class. (Your free 40-minute account will allow you easy access to our ZOOM Classroom account.)
  3. You are expected to attend the entire class session (except during the 15-minute break) just as if you were sitting in a classroom.
  4. After the class, you will be emailed an electronic affidavit and an electronic class evaluation. To receive CE credit, you must complete both.

A link to participate in the class will be sent to registered students the business day before the class.
